Estate Planning

Ready to Get Started Working With Us? Book Your Planning Session So We Can Get to Work.

Life & Legacy Planning Session

BOOK NOW

Apply to work with us to complete your Estate & Legacy Plan

Planning options you may choose include Wills, Trusts, Power of Attorney, Living Will, Healthcare Directives, a Plan to Protect your Children.  All plans include substantial extras that are not included with most documents-only estate planning attorneys.

Duration: 2 hours

Please expect to spend 2 hours together during this working meeting.

What to Expect During Your Session:

1) EXPLORE YOUR GOALS: We’ll discuss what you want to happen in all areas in the event of your death or incapacity.

2) CONSEQUENCE OF DOING NOTHING: We will evaluate your individual circumstances and educate you about the law and what would happen when you die or if you become incapacitated with no estate plan in place.

3) CONCERNS AND SOLUTIONS: You will identify any concerns you have about what would happen with no plan and identify what you would want to happen differently to have peace of mind.  If you decide your current outcomes work the way you’d like, then there’s nothing more to do.  If you decide there are outcomes you’d like to change, you’ll decide what you want to address.

4) ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS: Assuming that there is a good fit between you and our firm, we’ll explore potential planning options to address your concerns and achieve your goals.  You’ll choose a level of planning that is right for you. We’ll discuss the details of the unique planning process we use to help you accomplish your planning goals.

5) DESIGN YOUR PLAN: Once you’ve decided to take action to address your concerns, we will formally agree to work together and jump to action as your attorney and trusted advisor, designing a plan for you on the spot.*  You’re in the driver’s seat, making decisions about what you want to happen. You’ll even choose your own flat fee based on your individual planning goals. If additional time is necessary to address complex planning matters, a second Design Meeting may be scheduled.

Pre-Session Homework:

We know how important and valuable the Life & Legacy Planning Session is to empower you and your family to make decisions that are best for you. That’s why we offer the “homework” FEE WAIVER to clients that demonstrate seriousness about becoming educated and empowered to make the planning decisions that fit their needs.

The homework will involve getting your important information and documents organized, so we recommend scheduling your Life & Legacy Planning Session about two weeks in the future so you have plenty of time to get your pre-session homework completed and returned, to easily qualify for your fee waiver and receive your planning session for Free.

*Please know that if you agree to hire the Attorney and the Attorney agrees to represent you after consultation, both parties will sign an engagement agreement setting the terms and conditions of the representation. Until the engagement agreement has been signed, La Strada Law or the Attorney do not represent you.

Everything discussed during your Session is confidential and will not be shared outside our office without your permission.

Cost: $750

Existing Estate Plan Review

BOOK NOW

Apply to work with us to review your existing Estate Plan

Planning options you may choose include Wills, Trusts, Power of Attorney, Living Will, Healthcare Directives, a Plan to Protect your Children.  All plans include substantial extras that are not included with most documents-only estate planning attorneys.

Duration: 2 hours

Please expect to spend 2 hours together during this working meeting.

What to Expect During Your Session:

1) REVIEW OF YOUR EXISTING PLAN: For those with existing plans, we complete a “50 point review” of your current plan prior to our meeting, looking at what’s changed (the law, your assets, your family) since you developed the plan.

2) EXPLORE YOUR GOALS: We’ll discuss what you want to happen in all areas in the event of your death or incapacity.

3) CONSEQUENCE OF DOING NOTHING: We’ll walk through the “50 point review” review, evaluate your individual circumstances, and educate you about the law and what would happen when you die or if you become incapacitated with your current (or no) estate plan in place.

3) CONCERNS AND SOLUTIONS: You will identify any concerns you have about what would happen with your current (or no) plan and identify what you would want to happen differently to have peace of mind.
